Since living in Holland I have lived in three different places. There is one thing that they all have in common though and that is that they all had little “herb gardens”. Not a whole big patch obviously because well I never had a garden, but I had at least 3 or 4 different herbs.

When I moved to Arnhem I had a little balcony, which is where it all started. There I had a bunch of different things, and not just herbs but also some tomatoes, bell peppers and strawberries. I loved this, not only because it looks super cute but they are delicious! Having little plans at your place also gives your house a homey feel which is really important to me.
Now in my brand new house I only have basil, rosemary, thyme and mint but I’d love to add the tomatoes as well. I am going to need to find a cute way to make space so that I am able to have tomatoes and whatever else I add to my place. In my previous post I mentioned that I was adding shelves to my kitchen so hopefully I can have a couple of small pots on there as well for the herbs.
I will look up a few cute ways to have plants around the house and share those with you in a blog as well.
Here are a few pictures of when it all started back in Arnhem.
